   Why consider a rewire?

   As properties age, so do their electrics. Outdated wiring can cause electrical fires and shocks, so a rewire is often essential, or strongly advised, to make your property safe. Old cable colours, lack of earthing, and the position or lack of sockets and lighting are all reasons people rewire.

   We carry out full rewires for domestic and commercial clients, using modern equipment and tried and tested techniques learned through years of experience, minimising disruption while maximising the benefits of a modern system.

   What to expect

   A full or partial rewire (parts of a building can be done) will be messy. We remove the old cable, pull new cables under floors and above ceilings, chase walls with safe, modern cutting tools and drill through walls, so a plasterer and decoration will be needed afterwards. We always advise in advance what your rewire will involve.

   Working around your project

   We agree the scope of works with you, for a transparent, collaborative approach. If a kitchen or bathroom is being fitted at the same time, or staggered, we can work around those trades and even assist.
